Cork-Based Company Announces Further Expansion in Ireland

CORK-BASED National Business Machines (NBM), an innovative IT solutions and workplace technology solutions leader, has announced further expansion in Ireland with the acquisition of Total Office Solutions, North East Ltd (TOS NE Ltd).

Established in 1985 and headquartered in Cork with offices nationwide, NBM said the decision to acquire TOS NE is part of a customer-centric strategy to expand its portfolio of offerings for customers across Ireland.

Monaghan-based TOS NE has been a local provider of workplace solutions across the northeast of Ireland for more than 20-years.

NBM customers will now benefit from TOS NE’s broad experience in digital infrastructure, workplace supplies and technology.

As the largest premier partner of Xerox products and services in Ireland, NBM has growth firmly in its sights, with plans to double its workforce and invest over €10 million into developing its workplace solutions and IT capabilities for customers over the next five-years.

The latest development comes on the one-year anniversary of the most recent expansion by NBM into Northern Ireland following the £1.8 million investment into the launch of subsidiary company, Innovative Workplace Solutions (IWS).

The managing director and company founder of NBM, Michael Galvin, said he is excited for the future of company in Ireland.

“Growing and expanding our offering to help customers create smarter workplaces with the acquisition of TOS NE is a big moment for us,” said Mr Galvin.

Since we started back in 1985 it has been our ambition to provide the best innovative IT and workplace technology solutions in Ireland.

“The addition of TOS NE, and our extended footprint, means that we can expand our customer offerings even further across Ireland,” he added.

Niall Watters, founder and managing director of TOS NE, said: “This is the next exciting chapter for TOS NE and our customers. Becoming part of the NBM Group will see even greater expert support for both new and existing customers and I am excited for the future.”
